Bug bites salve

I don't know about you, but I love to hike. I'm grateful it's part of my job! The only things that bugged me were mosquito bites and tick marks. The natural solution was to reach for my great-grandmother's recipe - insect bite ointment.

What does it do? Most of all, it soothes itching! This ointment saved the day when our cat "lost" the fleas on my favorite armchair! In addition, it speeds up healing and reduces swelling.

How? As usual with local herbs and my favorite Boswallia tree resin.

The composition is:
Raw beeswax - protects and regenerates
Olibanum resin - disinfects, has anti-inflammatory properties
Plantain - a favorite plaster from childhood, accelerates wound healing
Daisy - soothes swelling
Geranium- repels ticks
Hemp oil - makes the skin elastic and nourishes
